Planet Opens Berlin Factory to Double Pelican Satellite Production

Planet officially opened its new 5,700-square-meter manufacturing facility in Berlin, which will double Pelican satellite production capacity. Production is set to begin this fall, and the company plans to hire 70 more staff on top of its 150 Berlin employees. The first German-built Pelican will launch with Isar Aerospace in early 2027.
