WoW: Forever players find rule-breaking items that defy 22 years of MMO design

Beta players of World of Warcraft: Forever have discovered items that upend classic mechanics: an axe from Deadmines lets you mine ore without the mining skill, and the Coldflame Saber from Shadowfang Keep enables a battle mage playstyle with fire damage on frozen targets. Blizzard deliberately hid the new items from dataminers ahead of the November 4 launch.
