Google adds Gemini 3.8 Live to Search Live for voice search

Google expanded Search Live with Gemini 3.8 Live, a model for voice dialogue with near real-time reasoning, visual context and language switching. An Extended Thinking version targets complex multi-step tasks; both are available in Search Live, the Gemini app, Workspace and developer tools.
