OpenAI and Anthropic launch new high-efficiency models

OpenAI released GPT-6 Sol and Luna, cheaper follow-ups to the 5.6 series with less than half the mistakes, rolling out to ChatGPT Work and Codex. Anthropic launched Claude Opus 5.5, which costs 40% less than Opus 5 on typical workloads and comes with higher usage limits for Pro, Max and Team plans.
