Blizzard confirms Diablo 5 will show Diablo's takeover of Sanctuary on-screen

Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 5 players will see how Diablo conquered Sanctuary rather than learning about it off-screen. Senior game director Joe Shely and narrative director Jennifer Hepler said the hero's bond with Diablo unfolds over the story. The game is slated for Spring 2029.
