Andreessen Horowitz launches 'academy' with Palantir, Google and Meta as partners

Andreessen Horowitz is creating the Horowitz Andreessen Academy, a one-year program with no degrees or homework and 10 partners including Google, Meta, OpenAI, Nvidia and Palantir. The first cohort starts in fall 2027 with 50 students, free tuition, but students must move to San Francisco and arrange their own housing.

• 10 partners: Anduril, Anthropic, Coinbase, Google, Meta, Nvidia, OpenAI, Palantir, Replit, Stripe
• $42 million in funding led by a16z; students get over $50,000 in compute credits
• First cohort limited to 50 students, mainly recent high school graduates, starting fall 2027
• No degrees or accreditation: short classes with founders plus co-ops at tech companies
