TikTok's US joint venture joins Lantern child safety programme, pledges $2M to NCMEC

TikTok's US joint venture has joined Lantern, a programme that lets tech companies share signals about child sexual exploitation across platforms. The company is also donating $2m to NCMEC to modernise its CyberTipline, part of a three-year, $10m effort backed by AWS, Microsoft and Palantir.
