GTA 6 won't match the GOTY sweep record set by Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur

GTA 6 launches on November 19, eight days after the Golden Joystick Awards 2026 ceremony on November 11. That timing rules the game out of a full five-award GOTY sweep in a single season, a feat achieved by Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
