Iridium, Skylo lead satellite IoT rankings

Counterpoint Research named Iridium and Skylo as pacesetters in satellite IoT connectivity, based on data through end-June. Iridium was cited for its established LEO network and IoT user base, Skylo for its focus on standards-based non-terrestrial networks. Viasat, Globalstar, Orbcomm and Myriota were rated leaders, while Sateliot, Thuraya, OQ Technology and Astrocast were listed as challengers.
