Apple May Bring iPhone Duo Display Tech to Pro Models in 2029

Apple could adopt thinner, more power-efficient OLED panels in its 2029 Pro iPhones, according to UBI Research. The CoE technology removes the polarizer and places a color filter directly on the encapsulation layer, boosting brightness or cutting power use. Samsung first commercialized it in the Galaxy Z Fold3, and the iPhone Duo may use it sooner.
