Forescout: 29% of Network Segments Mix IT, OT and IoT Devices

Forescout analyzed 47,700 real-world network segments and found that 29% contain devices from two categories and 9% from three or more. Only 13% of segments with OT devices and 6% with IoMT are isolated, widening the attack surface and lateral movement risk.

• The average segment holds 54 devices across four types: IT, OT, IoT and IoMT
