Marvell unveils first 2nm optical interconnects for AI data centers

At ECOC 2026 in Málaga, Marvell demonstrated what it calls the industry's first 2nm optical interconnect technologies for AI data center infrastructure, including 400G-per-lane PAM4, 800G ZR/ZR+ pluggables with MACsec, 1.6T ZR and coherent-lite links, and a 102.4T co-packaged optics platform. The technologies target the shift from 1.6T to 3.2T data center connectivity.
