Alibaba unveils Zhenwu V900 chip and Qwen models up to 10T parameters

At its Apsara conference, Alibaba announced the Zhenwu V900 AI chip, claiming three times the performance of its predecessor with commercial release in Q1 2027. The upcoming Qwen 4.5 and Qwen 5 model series are projected to scale to 5 trillion and 10 trillion parameters, while Alibaba Cloud targets over 20GW of global data centre capacity by 2032.
