Google's PQC roadmap targets 2029 migration with Merkle Tree Certificates

Google has published a product-by-product roadmap for its post-quantum cryptography migration, moving its deadline to 2029 — six years ahead of NIST guidance. The plan centers on Merkle Tree Certificates from Google Trust Services in 2028, which replace bulky post-quantum signatures in X.509.
