Four months into India's online gaming law, zero games registered

MeitY told the Central Information Commission that as of September 1, 2026, no games had been registered under the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. The ministry received 201 complaints about online gaming by September 2026. The law bans all money games, leaving registration only for e-sports and social games.
