Krafton preps BGMI LITE in India: ~1 GB size, pre-registration live on Google Play

Krafton plans to launch a lighter version of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI LITE) in India later this year. Pre-registration is already live on Google Play, the game will be around 1 GB, and players can log in with existing BGMI accounts and carry over items.

• BGMI LITE will be about 1 GB with selective content downloads
• Pre-registration opened on Google Play on August 25, 2026; no release date yet
• Existing BGMI accounts and items carry over, cross-play with the full version
