Alibaba reportedly testing QwenBook, a tablet-like agent computer

Alibaba Cloud's Wuying team is developing QwenBook, a tablet-shaped AI device built around native agent functions for office work. The prototype connects to Qwen3.8-Max and Qwen3.8-Flash, with planned system apps including meeting transcription, a wiki, smart folders and email, plus WPS integration via Kingsoft. A demo is planned for the Yunqi Conference, but the full product may not arrive until late 2026 or early 2027.
