Mimecast: security effectiveness drops despite higher spending

Mimecast's 2026 State of Human Risk report shows security effectiveness fell more than 10 points year-over-year even as budgets grow. 96% of security leaders admitted incomplete protection, 100% of South African respondents plan to seek more budget, and malicious insider incidents rose 46% over two years.
