Acer CEO says PC prices could fall by 2027, accuses rivals of milking the RAM shortage for profit
Acer CEO Jason Chen told DigiTimes that PC price hikes tied to the RAM shortage could start reversing by late 2027. He accused rivals of overshooting shortage forecasts to protect fat margins, claiming supply of most RAM and SSD types has caught up with demand and only high-end DDR5 and CPUs remain tight.
