JKMAX Recalls 200,000 Heated Blankets and Pads After Burn Injuries

JKMAX has recalled roughly 200,000 heated blankets and heating pads because internal wire heating elements can overheat, according to the CPSC. The company received at least 577 reports of smoking, melting or burning and 53 reports of burn injuries. The products were sold on Amazon from September 2022 through July 2026, and consumers are told to stop using them and request a full refund.
