TypeSafe AI unveils Jev, a 'decision model' that returns numbers instead of text

TypeSafe AI has launched Jev, the first of a new class it calls System One models: it takes text input but returns floating-point numbers, confidence scores and probability distributions instead of generated text. Input costs $0.042 per million tokens with free output, undercutting OpenAI's GPT-5 Nano at $0.05.
