U.S. jails expand continuous biometric monitoring as data rules lag

A growing number of U.S. jails are adopting continuous physiological and video monitoring of people in custody, while common rules for storing and accessing the data remain absent. 4Sight Labs urged agencies to add data-residency, access and deletion requirements; its systems are used by over 80 agencies in 19 states.
