Cyberattack hits University of Munich, student data at risk
An unknown hacker accessed an LMU Munich system holding sensitive student data, including names, birth dates, bank account details, health insurance numbers and financial aid information. The university disconnected the server, brought in external cybersecurity experts and is working with law enforcement; the number of affected people is unknown.
