DapuStor unveils J5060 SSD with combined SLC and QLC modes

China's DapuStor has developed a dual-mode J5060 SSD that mixes QLC capacity with pseudo-SLC (pSLC) speed. In 4 KB random-write tests the pSLC region delivers average write latency below 8μs and over 7× the random-write IOPS of a QLC-only drive. The 30.72 TB drive can allocate 8–20% of its capacity to pSLC.
