Generac signs $8bn backup generator deal with Amazon

Generac has signed a long-term agreement with Amazon to supply backup generators for its data centers. Initial deliveries over the next two years will total about $2.4 billion, with the deal potentially reaching $8 billion. Amazon also gets an option to buy up to 1.7 million Generac shares at roughly $200 each.
