BYD Shark 6 remotely hacked: headlights, tracking and cabin audio exposed

Researcher Dan Hreszczuk of Fortify Labs gained remote access to a BYD Shark 6 in two weeks via an entry point with no password. He killed the headlights and wipers while driving, tracked the car's location and activated the cabin microphone, capturing the driver's internet banking password. Australia has no mandatory cybersecurity standards for cars.
