DeepSeek to adopt Huawei chips for model training in Q4
DeepSeek CEO Liang Wenfeng told investors the company aims to train its models on more domestic chips and expects Huawei to deliver training chips as early as Q4 2026, helping both firms bypass U.S. export controls. DeepSeek is also finalizing a second funding round of 50 billion yuan ($7.5 billion) at a 500 billion yuan valuation.
