iFixit Tears Down iPhone 18 Pro, Finds Repair Issue

iFixit published a teardown of the iPhone 18 Pro: it shows a mechanical variable aperture with six blades on electromagnets, an under-display IR Face ID camera, and a larger vapor chamber. On three of four disassembled phones, the plastic display frame was damaged, potentially compromising water resistance after reassembly. Preliminary repairability score is 7 out of 10.
