These Popular Samsung Galaxy Watches Won't Have Software Support After 2027

Samsung will end Wear OS update support for Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic in December 2027, after which security patches will continue for about a year. For Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, OS updates will end in December 2026, and security patches in 2027.

• Galaxy Watch 6 and 6 Classic: OS updates until December 2027, patches until August 2028
• Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro: OS updates until December 2026, patches until 2027
• Watches will continue to work after support ends
• Galaxy Watch 8 Classic will get OS updates until 2029
