Google allocates scarce TPUs by priority: frontier AGI development first, then Cloud, Search and YouTube. Due to capacity shortages, Meta did not receive the requested Gemini compute, and Google is renting about 110,000 Nvidia GPUs from xAI for roughly $920 million per month.
