AGV helmet flips MIPS-style tech inside out with micro-sphere shell

AGV released the Pista GP R3 motorcycle helmet with the Sphera system: over 1,600 micro-bearings of 2 mm diameter on the outer shell limit head rotation during oblique impacts and, according to the company, reduce concussion risk sixfold. The helmet meets the FIM FRHPhe-02 standard, debuted at the 2026 San Marino Grand Prix, with price and launch date not announced.
