iPhone Duo Camera System vs. iPhone 18 Pro: Design Compromises

AppleInsider compared the cameras of the first foldable iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 Pro before shipments begin. The Duo has four cameras: 48MP Fusion Main (26mm, f/1.6, sensor-shift stabilization), 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide like the 18 Pro, 12MP front and under-display FaceTime; the 18 Pro has 48MP with variable aperture f/1.48–f/4.0 and 18MP Center Stage.

• iPhone 18 Pro: 48MP with variable aperture f/1.48–f/4.0 and 100% Focus Pixels
• Duo's Fusion Ultra Wide is identical to iPhone 18 Pro's camera — 48MP with 24MP default
• Duo shoots 4K Dolby Vision 120 fps but lacks pro features and LiDAR
