Tencent Cloud expands in Europe with open-weight AI models and sovereign cloud

Tencent Cloud is growing its European footprint through TokenHub, which offers access to open-weight models DeepSeek, GLM, Kimi and Minimax, plus on-premises options for data sovereignty. Europe GM Fred Sun said Tencent is no longer an AI latecomer and is preparing the Hy4 model for the top tier of open-weight models.
