Hero MotoCorp to raise Vida EV output to 80,000 units a month by Q2 FY28

Hero MotoCorp plans to lift production of its Vida electric two-wheelers from 30,000 to 45,000 units a month by end-March and to over 80,000 by Q2 FY28. Dealer inventory of about one day signals capacity constraints and strong demand.

• Capacity rose from 15,000 units a month at end-FY26 to 30,000 now
• Output to reach 45,000 units a month by end-March
• Target is over 80,000 units a month by Q2 FY28
• Vida is sold at about 700 of 8,500 retail outlets
