SAP to deploy SAP-RPT tabular AI model on ISS aboard HPE Spaceborne Computer-2

SAP announced plans to deploy SAP-RPT, a tabular AI foundation model, on HPE Spaceborne Computer-2 aboard the ISS by early 2027. The model predicts failures from telemetry, reconstructs missing sensor values and generates mission-health reports without retraining, and SAP says it is about 50,000 times more energy-efficient than state-of-the-art LLMs.
