XHEART launches X7 Ultra driving chip with 700 TOPS, X9 due in 2027
XHEART, the automotive chip company spun out of Momenta's chip program, launched the X7 Ultra on October 29 with 700 TOPS of compute for large driving models. Its next chip, the X9, targets 3,000 TOPS and 700GB/s of memory bandwidth per chip in 2027.
- X7 Ultra delivers 700 TOPS for large models using a very large NPU core
- Company claims 98.7% compute utilization and 99.99% match with reference outputs
- X9 is planned for 2027 with 3,000 TOPS and 700GB/s memory bandwidth
