US Air Force seeks AI to grade mid-air refuelling
The US Air Force is soliciting small businesses to build AI software that analyzes tanker camera footage to spot errors during aerial refuelling. The system would measure speed, alignment and approach velocity and give instructors colour-coded performance maps. Proposals are due by November 25, 2026, starting with the KC-46 Pegasus.
