Saab builds LUUV underwater drone demonstrator in under a year

Saab developed a large uncrewed underwater vehicle demonstrator, LUUV, with Sweden's FMV and Armed Forces in less than a year after receiving its contract. The prototype passed initial sea trials and is now a working demonstrator that military authorities will evaluate before deciding on procurement. Size, depth, speed and payload remain undisclosed.
