AI rediscovers 33 forgotten MXene forms in 1970s archives
Researchers at Linköping University used AI to scan decades of scientific archives and found 33 previously overlooked MXene compositions. They also developed a greener synthesis method that produces MXenes in seconds at room temperature with less water and fewer hazardous chemicals. The results were published in Science.
