Titanium boosts thermoelectric performance of thin films 250-fold
Researchers at Tohoku University added a small amount of titanium to chromium nitride, increasing the power factor of thermoelectric thin films 250-fold. The material is made without high-temperature processing and could convert waste heat from devices, factories and vehicles into electricity.
