Samsung Electronics to invest 666.2 billion won in Samsung Biologics rights offering

Samsung Electronics will take part in Samsung Biologics' roughly 3 trillion won paid-in capital increase, subscribing to 567,503 shares for 666.2 billion won (about $500 million). It holds a 31.22% stake and will take its full allocation; payment is due Nov. 17, with the final issue price set on Nov. 5.
