Samsung mobile unit books loss as memory demand surges

Samsung reported Q3 net profit of KRW75.1 trillion and revenue of KRW195.3 trillion, driven by AI memory demand. Its Mobile eXperience and Networks unit posted a KRW600 billion operating loss versus a KRW3.6 trillion profit a year earlier, despite 11% revenue growth to KRW37.7 trillion.
