Doosan Enerbility starts building reactor module for NuScale SMR

Doosan Enerbility has signed a contract with NuScale Power to manufacture the upper reactor pressure vessel module (URPV) for its small modular reactor. It is the first commercial SMR reactor build based on an NRC-approved design, extending a materials partnership begun in 2023.
