Tencent says Hy4 and Hy4 flash models will support visual understanding

Tencent plans to release Hy4 and Hy4 flash soon, adding visual understanding to its AI model lineup, executive vice president Dowson Tong said at the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Conference. The full Hy4 will improve sustained reasoning and execution in real-world productivity workflows, while Hy4 flash targets cost efficiency. The Hy4 preview has 770 billion total parameters, 49 billion activated during inference, and a one-million-token context window.
