Apple demo: MacBook Pro OLED beats Yoga Pro 9i's tandem OLED

At a private briefing Apple compared the 16-inch MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR against the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i Aura Edition with a tandem OLED panel. The reporter saw better off-angle viewing, 10,000,000:1 contrast versus 1,000,000:1, and less glare and screen wobble on the MacBook Pro.

• MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR starts at $3,399; Yoga Pro 9i costs $3,399 ($2,699 on sale)
• Apple claims 10,000,000:1 contrast versus 1,000,000:1 on the Lenovo
• Colors shift yellow off-angle on the Yoga Pro 9i, stay stable on the MacBook Pro
• The MacBook Pro hinge is stiffer, so the screen barely wobbles when touched
