Google unveils Gemini 4 Carbon and Genie 4 AI models

Google released Gemini 4 Carbon, a frontier model pitched at cybersecurity that detects and patches vulnerabilities and beat Gemini 4 Argon and OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra on benchmarks. The company also debuted Genie 4, a world model that adds audio such as background noise and dialogue. Neither model is publicly available yet.
