AI turns CISOs into business-risk translators, says Nvidia cyber head

Nvidia's head of cybersecurity policy Mark Weatherford told ISC2 Security Congress 2026 that widespread AI adoption has shifted the CISO role from security gatekeeper to business-risk translator. CISOs must explain AI tradeoffs to boards and clarify who owns the resulting risk, he said.
