Overheating Galaxy Buds: Samsung says don't put them back in the case

Users of Galaxy Buds, Buds+, Buds Live and some Buds FE report the earbuds get hot to the touch, beep and shut down in direct sunlight, high heat or during intense workouts. Samsung advises removing them from the ears and letting them cool outside the charging case, while code in the Galaxy Buds app v9.0.10.1724 hints at automatic shutdown and case-based cooling.
