UK launches interest-free and low-cost loans for solar panels and heat pumps

The UK Government announced the Warm Homes Loan Scheme, offering interest-free or low-interest loans of up to £15,000 for solar panels and a battery, up to £20,000 for an air-to-water heat pump and up to £35,000 for a ground-source heat pump. Rates are up to 5 percentage points below regular bank loans, repayment terms reach 30 years, and installations must use MCS-certified installers.
