Norton launches Safe AI to control and protect AI assistant use

Norton has released Safe AI within Norton 360, a set of protections that blocks unwanted AI actions and prompt injections, limits which files AI chatbots can access, and checks links surfaced by ChatGPT and Claude. Gen Threat Labs reports a 54% rise in malicious content served through AI chatbots over 90 days.
